IOVOX take your privacy concerns seriously and we strive to earn and keep your trust. IOVOX Limited complies with the requirements of the Data Protection Act and is registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner's Office).
- Information Collected
IOVOX respects your privacy and does not sell, rent or loan any identifiable information collected on the IOVOX site. Any information that you give will be treated in a careful and secure manner. It will not be used in ways to which you have not consented. When you create an account certain information is required. This includes personally identifiable information such as your name and email address. This information is stored on our systems, but no personally identifiable information is ever displayed or included in any communication sent via the site. We will not use your information for purposes that are not clear when you provide your details, except with your agreement or where we are legally obliged to do so. IOVOX stores, maintains and processes your account, including your voicemail, contacts, recorded calls and other information relating to your account. We do this to provide the IOVOX service to you. The IOVOX servers will also record information about your use of the IOVOX website. We will record account activity, website clicks, login information (IP address, web browser used, access date and time). We will log calling information related to your calling activity (number calling, forwarding numbers, call date/time and duration and other information required to generate calling reports for your account).
- Contacting You
IOVOX will only use your details to send you information to inform you of updates or changes made to the service regarding your account. If you no longer wish to receive such information, our emails contain a link that will allow you to change or terminate your subscription to our email alerting service. If you are receiving email from us in response to an inquiry or support ticket you made, you can be rest assured that we will use your email address for no purpose other than to respond to your inquiry.
- Updating Your Information
You can freely update all of your personal and company information including email address, phone numbers, location and password. You can access your personal information in your account. We encourage you to keep your details up to date. We strive to protect the security of information that you provide and will comply at all times with its statutory and any other obligations in this regard. You may close your account by contacting hello@IOVOX.com. You will be notified by email as soon as the closure is completed. You will not be able to login to your account once your account has been closed, if you wish to use IOVOX in the future you will be required to register again. Residual copies of deleted messages and accounts may remain in our offline backup systems.
- Call Information
Our service allows you to receive, share and store personal information that you create or collect from third parties during a phone call. You can store this information through the IOVOX application, or in third party software applications that interface with our service. IOVOX has no control over the phone numbers, physical addresses, email addresses, call notes and similar personal or confidential information that you receive from callers, or the details from a call that you elect to notate within our application (together “Call Information”). IOVOX also has no involvement in or control over what, if any, Call Information you share with friends or colleagues, or what information you elect to store within our application or on connected software applications. In sum, we give you the power to save and share Call Information as part of our mission to make your life more efficient, but it is your sole and exclusive responsibility to determine what Call Information to save and how and if you share it. In the event an individual or group expressly informs you not to share Call Information that you receive from them, it is incumbent upon you to respect and abide by such requests. As a condition of using the service, you agree to indemnify and hold IOVOX and its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, co-branders or other partners, and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, made by any third-party due to or arising out of Call Information that you collect and store through our Service, or in conjunction with your use of the Service.
- Your Password
IOVOX will also ask you for a password, this is used to protect your account from unauthorised access. It is vital that you keep your password safe to prevent unauthorised access to your account. If you believe that your password has been compromised for any reason please change it immediately.
A cookie is a piece of data stored on your hard drive that allows us to recognise your computer from one page access to the next. We use only session cookies which are designed not to be permanent or persistent. The session cookie is designed so that, once you close your browser, the cookie will simply terminate. If you configure your browser to reject cookies, you may still use some, but not all, portions of our site. For example, the login process and all member functionality require that your browser accept cookies. We recommend closing browsers on shared computers after use.
- Disclosure of Your Information
We will not disclose any of your information without your permission. We will not sell, rent or give your information to any third party. We will only disclose your information if we are required to do so by law or by the user's use of fraudulent activity. We do not use Spyware.
- No Spam Policy
No Spam, not now, not ever! You will receive emails from us for information update purposes only. However, we will never supply, sell or rent your email address or any other information to any third party.
- Internal Use of Information
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Our technical team does their utmost to ensure the security of our systems. Internet Security is a complex topic and no system can be considered 100% secure. Should a security breach occur we would endeavour to react as fast as possible to remedy the problem. However we cannot assume responsibility for member details compromised in the unlikely event of a security breach.

If we make material changes to our privacy statement, these changes will be posted to our privacy statement page. You should review this page regularly for updates.
